I am happy to share the fact that I have published a blog in the last year! Now it’s time for me to celebrate publishing 30 posts. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time out of your day to read, share, give feedback and make suggestions. I truly appreciate it! I especially appreciate my wife’s proof-reading skills and my kids patience with my increased screen time and social media presence.
Your support has been a big motivation to keep moving forward.
Learning to write and find a voice
I have never been a writer unless you count writing the odd email. The closest thing to writing that I did was writing essays in University, so you can imagine how foreign this felt.
You might wonder why I started a blog. I was reading so much information on design, minimalism and zero waste, and I saw how well they worked together. I wanted to share what I was learning.
There are so many parallels between design, minimalism and zero waste. I believe that with these 3 pillars, we can live simply, intentionally and sustainably and still enjoy a very good life.
Less, but better!
Starting a blog
Below are some of the resources that helped me to start a blog. Is there something you’re passionate about? If yes, then you can do it too.

Tech information:
There are so many good resources online. It’s likely that someone out there has had the same question or issues and has added a “how to” article or video.
Wpbeginner is my favourite. They have so many answers to my blogging questions.
